How do I become a Beta tester?
Sometimes there are simulations that need testing before we release them, however we know everyone would love to get their hands on them and that would then defeat the point of us beta testing. Therefore we may invite select users to participate. We may even allow our tier 3 Patreon V.I.P users this time to time. Emailing or requesting to be a Beta tester will not gain you beta testing privileges.
Can I request you make a simulation?
Of course you can via our social channels Facebook / Twitter. We will however not make simulations upon request unless you have a Patreon Platinum Creator reward tier.
Can I join the Ride Sims team?
In short we are not looking for additional team members.
How do I make my own simulations?
It is a very long time consuming process that has taken years to perfect. There is no right or wrong way to develop a simulator, we recommend learning animation and coding software online.
Can you play Ride Sims on phones or tablets?
You can only play Ride Sims simulations via a device with flash player installed. You will also need a keyboard for keyboard shortcut commands to play.
How do I change my display picture on my account?
You will need to ‘change your password’ to have the option to change your display picture.
Can you reset my Ride Sims scores?
Your scores will remain with your account details. To reset you will need to delete your account.
When will your next sim be released?
We make these simulations in our spare time and for FREE. Therefore it could be days, weeks and months between new simulation releases.
How do I play Ride Sims / Keyboard commands are not working
Ride Sims is best played on a computer on Google Chrome web browser. Some browsers do not allow all keyboard commands to work. If you change browser tab or window you may need to click on the simulation again to tell the page your keyboard inputs are for the sim window.
What are you doing about Flash End of Life?
We've discovered an API called Ruffle which converts our flash files into an HTML5 format that allows Ride Sims to live on.
I've found a bug when using the new HTML5 mode?
We're monitoring and logging all bugs with the creators for Ruffle. If you've found a bug, please message us on social media with steps on how to recreate the bug and provide a screenshot or video of what you are experiencing.
I can’t play simulation on mobile or tablet?
Only certain ride sims are mobile-ready at the moment. Simulations compatibale with mobile or tablet devices are highlighted by the blue touch icon on the bottom right of their icon.
I am experiencing slowness when playing in HTML5 mode!
If you are experiencing slowness when using the HTML5 mode, please try another browser. The creators of Ruffle are working on improving performance daily.
I can't change from Flash to HTML5?
At the moment HTML5 mode is only available to admins and V.I.P tier 3 Patreon supporters. This will be released to the public soon.
I've got a big red error message?
Please refresh your browser cache and if this doesn't work contact us.
Ride Sims HTML5 won't load on my phone or tablet?
Unfortunately some devices aren't supported. Please try multiple browsers to double-check this and ensure you are running the latest operating system for your device.
Can I load Ride Sims full screen?
Fullscreen mode is coming soon! Please check back soon for more information.
Can I still play with flash?
Yes absolutely! However Flash is end of life as of 31st December 2020 and may be turned off on some browsers in 2021. To re-enable flash please turn off HTML5 mode on the banner on the simulator pages.

By registering a Ride Sims account, you, (also referred to hereafter as ‘the user’), are agreeing to the following terms of Service.

Material, including but not limited to flash simulation files, may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast, or transmitted in any way except from your own personal, non-commercial home use. Any unauthorised use of any material from this site without prior written consent of the Ride Sims team, is prohibited.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Ridesims.com to post any material, including uploading display images and selecting a user name, which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, pornographic, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise a violation of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.
The user agrees to indemnify Ride Sims, its owners, employees and partners, including legal fees, for any legal action arising out of the user’s use of the website, violation of these terms of use, or violation of any rights of a third party in connection with the user of the web site.
You may be able to access third-party websites or services via Ridesims.com. Ridesims.com isn’t responsible for third-party websites, services, or material available through those third-party services.
